Iguaçu Falls 2-day tour

The largest waterfalls in the world

Trip to Iguazu Falls – one of those experiences that stay in your memory for a lifetime. Located on the border of Brazil and Argentina, in the heart of the Atlantic tropical rainforest, they create a monumental spectacle of nature – the largest waterfall system in the world, with over 270 cascades stretching for nearly 3 kilometres. The thunder of the water, the rising mist, and the intense greenery make it clear from the very first moments why Iguazu is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.

We organise trips to Iguazu Falls with an English-speaking guide, as well as boat rides under the falls – on both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides.

The Brazilian Side – Panorama and the Bird Park

Exploring Iguazu on the Brazilian side is the perfect introduction to the entire complex. Scenic trails run along the edge of the waterfalls, offering wide, almost cinematic panoramas. This is where the sheer scale of Iguazu is best seen in its full glory. Right next to the national park is Parque das Aves – a unique place where you can see toucans, macaws, and hundreds of other tropical birds up close, often walking right next to visitors.

The Argentinian Side – Close to the Power of the Water

The Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls allows you to get almost within arm's reach of the rushing cascades. A network of wooden walkways leads through the jungle and over the river, culminating in the famous Garganta del Diablo – the Devil's Throat. It is here that the water plunges with tremendous force into a rocky amphitheatre, with the roar and vibration of the air making an incredible impression.

Boat Ride Under the Falls – Adrenaline in the Midst of the Elements

For those who want to experience Iguazu with all their senses, a boat ride under Iguazu Falls is an absolute must. Speedboats go right up to the cascades, guaranteeing a big dose of excitement, laughter, and… getting completely soaked. This is the most dynamic way to engage with this elemental force.

Meeting of Three Borders

Finally, it's worth visiting the Marco das Três Fronteiras (Three Borders Landmark), where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet in one place. The view of the confluence of rivers and the neighbouring countries, especially at sunset, beautifully completes the whole journey.

How much time and how to get there?

It's best to plan 2–3 days to comfortably see both sides of Iguazu Falls and the additional attractions. The most convenient way to get there is by plane – the flight from Rio de Janeiro takes about 2 hours, similar to Buenos Aires. Once there, everything is well-organised and easily accessible. A trip to Iguazu is the perfect combination of nature, emotion, and unique views – an experience that shows South America in its most spectacular guise.
